Mentorship Program

This is an area that I feel I can have the most impact in. I have been on the ice coaching for 30 years and now I want to begin the transition to help young coaches do a better job by not making the same mistakes that I made along the way.

By developing a model that can be duplicated for success. I believe that could be my best asset as a coach. I would love nothing more than to develop a coach that makes it to the NHL.

Step
1

Executing the Plan

We will have many discussions about why you would want to learn my techniques? How long will it take? How can i know that your teachings are going to help me as a coach?
Step
2

On Ice Development

You will get opportunities to shadow me on the ice with many levels of goalies to be able to ask questions of not only me but the goalies as well.

Step
3

Coaching Opportunities

I will use my contacts to allow you as a coach to be able to coach at a high level. You will gain confidence to be ready to perform at any level including Major Junior, Provincial and or National teams

Step
4

Learn How to interview

I will help you learn to effectively go through the interview process. This is something that I believe I can help the coach understand how to sell their skills to a team.

Step
5

How To Gain The Trust Of Your Goalies?

This is probably the most difficult skill to learn. You must be able to make the goalies feel that they can trust you with your development. You will understand that you have their future in your hands. You will learn how to deliver every time! As a coach, you will learn the value of consistent focused work that the goalies and their parents can buy into as well as respect!
